Welcome!
The Gingin Hotel is situated in the townsite of Gingin which is one of the oldest towns within WA, originally being a stopover for early pioneers travelling from Perth to Geraldton with the first settlers arriving in 1832. Gingin was proclaimed a town in 1883.
The railway came to Gingin in 1891 with the historic train station still existing right across from the pub.
The pub is an old historic two story building with the typical charm of an old country pub. The pub has two styles of accomodation, one being hotel rooms upstairs and motel style units. The pub also boasts great food and old fashioned country hospitality alot having to do with the new owners, Mark and Kelly, who took over in September 2008.
Although the pub was recently renovated, the local support that now exists is tremendous and also adds to the atmosphere to the place. We now have entertainment most Firday night's and a menu that will please even the toughest of critics! You can also enjoy the full facilities of the TAB!
Our hotel can also cater for weddings, parties, birthdays or anything really!
Gingin is located only 83km(about an hour) from Perth, close enough for a trip for lunch on a Sunday afternoon! So we look forward to seeing you soon! Check out what's happening over the week.
